The first consultation lasts about an hour and involves a detailed case history covering the the problem you have come with and all other aspects of your health, including past medical history, diet, lifestyle and current medication. Blood pressure and pulse will be taken and other clinical examinations may be performed if appropriate.

A treatment plan will then be discussed and, if necessary, herbal medicines will be prescribed in the form of tinctures, teas, capsules or creams. All advice and treatment is carefully considered and tailored to meet your individual needs. Length of treatment varies – good results can sometimes be achieved in as little as two weeks but chronic conditions may take many months.

Follow-up consultations last approximately 30 minutes. Your first follow-up consultation will usually be two weeks after your visit to check your progress and make any necessary tweaks to your prescription to ensure it is at its most effective. Subsequent follow-ups are arranged at 4-6 week intervals depending on the condition.

All consultations are strictly confidential.

Initial consultation (60 mins)
£80 + cost of herbal medicines

Follow up consultation (30mins)
£55 + cost of herbal medicines

Herbal Medicines

Tinctures – £11 / 100ml (approximately one week’s medicine)
Teas – £8/ 100g
Creams/lotions/balms – from £5 / 30ml
Capsules/lozenges/syrups and other medicines  – individually priced

Medicines can be collected on on agreed day. Alternatively, medicines can be posted for an additional charge of £6 for up to 1kg.

Cancellations

Please do try and give me as much notice as possible (at least 48hrs)  so that I can offer the appointment to someone else who needs herbal medicine. If you are feeling unwell on the day or have any symptoms of COVID, in person consultations can be switched to zoom or telephone. Please note that cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full consultation price. I really don’t like doing it but it is very difficult to book new appointments at such short notice and I still have costs to cover. Many thanks for your understanding 🙂
