Immune tonics – Mushrooms and Wild Spring Herbs Workshop: Wednesday 28th April 2021 at 7.30pm on Zoom

As part of the Gypsy Baker Kitchen Stories series, Katie will talk about three beautiful spring herbs that we can find in our back garden –  Dandelion, Nettle and Cleavers and why they are important at this time of year. She will also talk about the benefit of mushrooms to the immune system and why we should be incorporating these into our diets all year round.

Recipes will be demonstrated on how to make:

Nettle pesto
Spring vinegar
Mushroom stock

10% of the profits will go to an amazing charity called Herbalists Without Borders UK who provide support and make medicines for the refugees at the Calais and Dunkirk camps www.herbalistswithoutborders.co.uk
